FUTURE CAMPS & RACES
Milton Keynes Snowdome Training Days, summer/autumn/winter 2008/9
Robin Gilyead will once again be running a few Sunday sessions in the MK Snowdome – 2 to 3 hours skiing in the morning followed by lunch and possibly some activity in the afternoon.
Summer Camp 2008
Will be on the Kaprun Glacier, which is in excellent condition, from 18-26 July.
October half term 2008
Friday October 24 - Sunday November 2, again on the Kaprun Glacier, Austria. 7 days on the snow. There will be a second week if there are enough takers.
3 Day Camps
3 day camps, giving three full days’ skiing, are available throughout the winter (Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Monday).
Early season FIS races
We shall attend the early season FIS races in Scandinavia.
Speed Training
We are planning two sessions at the new facility in Sella Nevea, Italy; one before Christmas and the second immediately prior to the English Championships in Bormio in February.
Christmas/New Year Racing & Training 2008/9
Wednesday December 17 - Saturday December 27 in both Wengen and Petzen. Saturday December 27 - Saturday January 3 in Petzen, Austria.

British Schoolboys’ and Schoolgirls’ Races 2009
January 24 – 28. The Schoolboys will be in Meiringen, Switzerland and the Schoolgirls in Flaine, France. Schoolboys’ information will be available on the DHO website. Schoolgirls on www.LadiesSkiClub.org
February half term/English Championships 2009
This year February half term hosts the English Championships in Bormio, Italy, from 15-20 February. It is planned to have a speed skiing camp beforehand, see above, and if there is enough demand we shall also run a second training week in either Austria or Italy.
British Ski Academy’s Inter Schools Ski Challenge 2009

Easter 2009 / British & Scottish Championships
The British and Scottish Championships will be held respectively in Méribel and Courchevel at the end of March/early April and we shall be staying, as usual, in Brides les Bains.
