WENGEN - INFO, RAIL & WEATHER
Sitting above the Lauterbrunnen valley, the village of Wengen retains an old world charm thanks to the lack of any traffic (apart from taxis and snow ploughs) and the conservation of many traditional old cowsheds and chalets. The hotels, shops and restaurants, however, are of the highest standard. Access to the ski slopes is via the cog railway up to Kleine Scheidegg or by the cable car to the top of Mannlichen
