The Eastwood Trophy

A new event for DHO members aged 18-35 years

The Eastwood Trophy will be awarded to the winner of a giant slalom ski race for DHO members aged between 18 and 35 years after two runs from the Lauberhorn Start on the Friday morning of McMillan Week (i.e. Friday 8th February 2019).

A formal dinner will be enjoyed in Wengen on the evening of the same day.

On Saturday 9th February, options include Breakfast in the Schilthorn Restaurant and a Visit to the Bond Museum, or an Off-Piste Day with a Mountain Guide.

Former Coggins, Eagles and other young DHO skiers aged 18-35 years are invited to a reunion over a long weekend in the village. Skiers and non-skiers and their partners and friends will be welcome.

The Eastwood Trophy has been named after Bob and Rachel Eastwood who have contributed so much to the training of DHO skiers.

Young people interested in taking part in this event (with or without racing) should contact William Wells.
