Advertising Manager

The Journal editor, Brian Bollen is currently also serving as the Advertising Manager,he has had a strong connection with Wengen for more than 40 years, since first arriving in town on June 17 1974 to spend the summer season working as a hall porter in the Grand Hotel Palace & National (aka The Palace).

Although not a skier, he is a highly experienced writer and editor, who learnt his trade at the Financial Times Group before becoming a full-time freelance in January 1993.

The DHO Journal is regarded by many as the best ski magazine in the Alps. The editor’s aim is to continue developing a “coffee table” style of magazine to be enjoyed by all its readers. It is a combination of a document of record and a document of some style and someimes even wit, reflecting the DHO’s history and traditions, and occasionally nudging it in the general direction of the future.
